La Maison des Vignerons

At the entrance of the Aosta Valley, in the Grand Vert hamlet of Donnas, a late eighteenth century period residence welcomes you with the rural simplicity of an old country house. Centuries-old stone vaults and bricks made long ago tell a tale of long-lasting serenity, warmth and homeliness. La Maison des Vignerons is situated amongst the vineyards which produce the wine with the same name, the first PDO (Protected Denomination of Origin) wine of the Aosta Valley. There are 6 rooms available for guests (each is named after one of the grape varieties cultivated in the Lower Aosta Valley) all equipped with family furniture and décor of farming tradition. Outside, the beautiful garden with the vineyard pergola invites you to admire the beauty nature. In summer, on request, it is possible to unite the freshness of the evening with the typical tastes of the Aosta Valley, dining outside with a barbecue and a selection of local wines. The light of the candles and lamps creates a welcoming and festive atmosphere.
